LETTINGS & HIRE

Christ the King Catholic Primary School regards the school building and grounds as a community asset and makes efforts to share them as an extended service to all, including our community and for private use.


We invite our community, local businesses, clubs and charities to hire our hall and / or field for your event.  If you are looking to host a birthday party, summer BBQ, regular activity, we have a large, open hall that flows through to our field which boasts a newly modernised pavilion.

As a busy school, it may take 5 days to return your enquiry during term times.  We do periodically monitor enquiries during the school holidays.


Our Facilities:


We have capacity to accommodate between 80 to 100 people per booking.

The Field:

  • Access to the field (used for track and field activities as well as football)
  • Access to the playground
  • Outside covered pavilion
  • The outside space can accommodate your own equipment, eg: bouncy castle
  • There is an outside toilet
  • Request access to the outside table tennis equipment

The Hall:

  • Access to staff toilets in the foyer
  • Access to a fridge, electrical points and a storage area (in the staff room)
  • Request access to tables and chairs, stage equipment

Rates per hour - weekdays & weekends:

Facility Term time: 5pm - 9.30pm School Holiday: 9am - 9.30pm
Hall £16.50 £25.00
Field Only £16.50 £25.00
Hall & Field £20.00 £30.00

Additional Information:


  • We require a deposit of between £100 - £150 per booking
  • This is a nut-free school, please do not bring any products that may contain nuts onto the school premises
  • There is a policy of leaving the facilities how you found them.  Cleaning equipment will be on site for you to use
  • Personal Insurance is required by the school's local council and costs £9.90 in total
  • The PE equipment in the hall is not for use
  • We cannot take responsibility for any injury resulting from use of play equipment
